Additional updates:
Board positions & terms - The board thanks Jeff Schwerdtfeger for his commitment and service to the board. Jeff resigned in January to spend more time traveling and with family. The Trail Ridge board has appointed Jeri Hurley to fill the vacated seat, and Jeri has graciously accepted the secretarial duties.

Proposed Development for Parcel Number: 36191520004800 - At the December regular board meeting, member concerns were shared regarding the proposed development and subdivision of a parcel adjacent to Trail Ridge. Carolyn Cushner, a Trail Ridge member, has been tracking the proposal by High Country Solutions, LLC to possibly develop the parcel for use as cabin rentals, silo houses, or an RV park. Members were encouraged to contact the Lincoln County Planning & Zoning Commission and/or County Commissioners to share their concerns regarding the proposal. Carolyn Cushner (carolyncushner@gmail.com) also offered to be a resource on the proposal for members interested in learning more (link to a drafted letter outlining concerns).
Trail Ridge Facebook - Thanks to the efforts of our Good Neighborhood Committee, we now have a Trail Ridge Facebook group where we can share updates, relevant news, and local happenings. If you're interested in joining but aren't sure how, please reach out to the committee (trailridgeneighborhood@gmail.com).
Trail Ridge Website Updates - Many thanks to Colleen Cook and our dedicated committee members for the updates that have gone into the Trail Ridge website. If you haven't done so yet, please check this resource out. We're still in the process of finalizing a few items, but there's a lot of incredible information HERE (and check out the new committee pages!).
With regards,
The Trail Ridge Board
No Parking in Common Area
Posted on Dec 8th, 2025
The Trail Ridge Board would like to give the membership notification and reminders of limited to no parking in the common area also known as the park as we head into plow season.
The plow drivers have asked members to stop the overnight parking in the common area between the picnic table/drop box and along the fence that runs along Buffalo Drive on the western edge of the common area. If it becomes an issue for the plow to keep that area cleared so that the local contractors, who are hired to do private driveway clearing for property owners, can't park there during working hours then we will have the cars towed at the owners' expense. If you must park, or need a contractor to park there overnight, then they must park east of the picnic area in the grassy area.
Please contact the board if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jeri Hurley
