Noxious Weed Committee

Hello everyone,

Your weed committee is working to help eradicate some of the noxious weeds in the subdivision.
We will work closely with the Lincoln County weed and pest control district, which has helped us make our first spraying last fall, while these plants were still in bloom and/or accepting treatment to the root system.

There are several noxious weeds out of control in the county of which we have here as well. KNAP weed, and henbane, are two of the major ones that we are concerned with. There are several of us on the committee that would be more than willing to come by and help you identify these weeds and or others that could possibly be there. We will be able to assist you with what product to use to spray, the timing of application, and how to protect other plants at the same time.

Mowing of these plants only stimulates the root system and the spread of the plant.
We will be working on the community park area to eradicate some of those weeds.

With the help of everyone we will be able to stop the spread to other properties via wind, water, etc.

Thank you and look forward to hearing from you.
